Tenants began moving into the Global Water Center in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point neighborhood July 18, and virtually all the signed tenants are expected to be settled in by the end of August, said Dean Amhaus, president and CEO of The Water Council.

The center is spearheaded by The Water Council and meant as an incubator for water technology startups, who get to collaborate with more established manufacturers, education institutions and business groups opening satellite offices in the building. It’s located at 247 Freshwater Way, formerly 223 W. Pittsburgh Ave.
